Over the next month, works will take place between 09:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday.

‘The Urban Mobility team will resurface a number of roads in the Strandfontein and Pelican Park area and will install and repair kerbs; manholes and channels where necessary. We will ensure that all road markings removed during the process will be reinstated with new retro-reflective road marking paint to improve visibility and road safety. Regular maintenance works, such as this, prolongs the longevity of the City’s road network and helps us keep Cape Town moving,’ said the Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.

Congestion is expected and the City recommends that road users be cautious while work is under way.
